There is a little bit of an out of focus softness that occurs in the image from time to time, but otherwise this AVC 1080p encodement of Stage Fright is another winning transfer from Warner Animation that offers up rich colors, little in the way of anomalies and detailed line art. All of this things make for a satisfying, family-friendly romp with these familiar friends.
Of course, the animation is without question top notch, from the opening title sequence that offers up a contemporary musical number so perfect for today’s youth, just as the “Scooby-Doo, where are you?” song was. As always, Scooby-Doo might be a little on the scary side for the really young ones, but should be okay for kids ages 6 and up. They will still, however, be able to enjoy the best friends for life with the ravenous appetites, “Scoob” and Shaggy, the hijinks, and thrills.
